Ooey, Gooey, Chocolate Goodness
Pepper Tree Restaurant
Total Rating: 12/15
Who can say no to a massive serving of warm chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream? Definitely not me! Although I’m usually not a chocolate lover, this cake was quite possibly the moistest, most flavorful chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Talk about melt in your mouth goodness, this cake only appears on the dessert menu occasionally, but I would highly recommend ordering it when you see it. At first, I thought it was going to be way too rich but the balance of frosting to actual cake was perfect and the ice cream added that needed creaminess. Coming in at a solid 12/15, I’d be curious if we can find anything that tops this rating as a dessert.

The First of Many: Pretzels!
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse
Total Rating: 8/15
Going live with the first post with nothing other than a classic big, soft pretzel served with beer cheese and honey mustard from the chain BJ’s restaurant and brewhouse. Coming in at $10.99, this one was underwhelming with a hardened exterior and air bubble filled interior. It’s only savior was the incredibly savory beer cheese (thank god considering it’s a brewhouse) bringing the total rating to a solid 8/15. If you’re craving only a pretzel I wouldn’t make a special trip to grab this one but overall I’d probably order it again.
